Terms of Service
Effective March 2024
1. Trial and subscriptions
ShiftBeacon starts with a free trial. After the trial you can select a paid plan to keep tenant portals active.
Plan limits (employees, storage, features) are enforced through the control plane. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle unless otherwise noted.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or violate the privacy of other organizations using the platform.
We may suspend or terminate access if we detect abuse, security risks, or non-payment.
3. Data ownership
Organizations retain ownership of schedules, time entries, paystubs, and any uploaded content. We provide export tools so you can retrieve data at any time.
You grant ShiftBeacon a limited license to process data solely to deliver the service and comply with legal obligations.
4. Service commitments
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance.
Security practices include Supabase Row-Level Security, signed URL file delivery, and monitoring via Sentry/PostHog.
